0Well, so far we have had a very mild winter. This is great, since I’m not burning wood, propane or running the heat pump for heat. Makes my pocket book happy. I have made it my New Year’s resolution this year to work on becoming debt free. I am targeting my credit cards and that is a challenge. I have signed up for informative web sites for women on managing finances and I will do this. I work on affirmations to increase my wealth instead of wallowing in my lack. This is so important to focus on. It seems that when we think of the lack it becomes even more overwhelming and freedom from debt becomes less attainable. There is so much temptation out there for us to spend, spend spend. So it takes a great deal of discipline to avoid all the money traps. But this is something I want to happen in my life. I love to travel, so that will be a big no on my list for now, but not forever. Last year, I went to Florida, Arizona and Vermont. Lord, no wonder I’m in debt. So other than essential travel to visit family, all other trips will be put on hold and not charged!
I don’t know if I had entered in that I am also a member of our local search and rescue squad. Last Saturday night, I went on my first call. It all turned out okay, we found the missing person and horse.
They went riding in the national forest, got off the trail and ended up tangled in vines and it got dark. We were out there 3 hours, but found her and all was well. That is what we like. Like the saying goes “All’s well that ends well.” And so with that I say ciao till next time.
